BIDDING:
When
bidding on an item through Allmans Auctions
you should enter the maximum amount you are
willing to pay for the item you are bidding
on. Your top bid will not be visible to other
bidders. Our automatic bidding system will bid
for you, bidding as low as possible using the
current bid increment to give you high bid
until your maximum is reached. If there is a
tie for high bid, the earliest bid wins. You
can increase your maximum bid by simply
placing a higher bid. You may not lower your
maximum bid once it is entered. If you bid
again on an item and enter a lower amount, the
bid will simply be rejected.
Let's
say the current high bid for the item you want
is $50. If you leave a maximum bid for $110,
the AllmansAuction.com
computer will automatically enter your
bid at $55, the minimum needed to win the bid.
If someone then bids $70, the Allman’s
computer will bid $75 for you. If you are
outbid, the Allman’s computer will send you
an e-mail notice telling you so. If there is
no further bidding, you win the piece for $75
and we will notify you by e-mail.
